Praise God for unanswered prayer - 3 May 2009 |

God doesn’t always give us what we pray for. And it’s a good job too.
Think of all the ungodly, foolish, short-sighted and (perhaps most numerous of all) well-meaning but ultimately unwise prayers he must hear every day.
In fact, if God always gave us what we asked for, only a fool would dare open his mouth in prayer. No sane Christian would risk taking over the government of the universe from the One who made it.
Praise God for not answering prayer. Or, at least, for saying ‘No’.
