Who’s going out? - 19 July 2009

The King of Sodom ‘went out’ (Heb. ys’) to war, drawing up his battle lines (Gen 14:8). Melchizedek ‘brought out’ (Heb. ys’) bread and wine (Gen 14:18) and blessed Abraham.

A king of peace (Heb 7:2), like the Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6).
