Safety of Children and Vulnerable Adults at Emmanuel Church Cockfosters

The safety of children and vulnerable adults in our care from all forms of harm is a priority for us. We are committed to following government and Thirtyone:eight guidelines and good working practice, including in our recruitment of staff and volunteers.

We have a formal safeguarding policy which can be obtained on request from the church elders: office@northlondonchurch.org

If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable adult you can contact any one of the elders:

Steve Hayhow (Senior Minister)

Duncan Brisk (Associate Minister)

Prabhav Reddy (Elder)

Contact details for the elders are provided to church members. If you do not have these contact details, please email office@northlondonchurch.org.

Concerns can also be referred directly to Thirtyone:eight, an independent Christian Charity providing child protection advice and adult safeguarding guidance and support throughout the UK.

Thirtyone:eight 24-hour helpline:                   0303 003 1111

In an emergency (especially if someone is in immediate danger of harm) you should always call 999 and ask for the police.

You can also report concerns to the Barnet Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub: 020 8359 4066.
