The Bible teaches that children are an important part of the church. Jesus insisted that children are welcome among his people: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them" (Matthew 19:14). As a church, we want to follow Jesus' example.
We therefore welcome children at all our services, and make a big effort to make sure that they (and their parents) feel at home. Children are encouraged to participate in our worship, activity sheets are provided to help them stay engaged during the sermon, and toys are available for toddlers and very young children. And if your little one is having a bad day, there's no need to worry. No one minds a bit of chatter, and if they need to go outside for a break then that's fine too.
The children's Sunday School takes place after the service, from 11:45 to 12:30. It's a fun-packed time of Bible teaching, activities, singing and games aimed specifically at under-10s.
